2014-2015 Speech Therapy Planner Review

How do you like to keep track of your paperwork and keep your speechie self organized?  Do you use a computer-based calendar?  A fancy expensive planner?  A TPT product?  Your phone?  Post-it notes scattered all over your desk?  I think I've probably used all of the above in the past.  For some reason I keep going back to good old paper.  I just love pretty printables and designs and washi tape.

Now I do use my outlook calendar for appointment reminders, but for the million other things I have to organize and keep track of I'm just loving my planner!  A couple of you have asked how I set mine up and use it....so get excited because I made a little video to review it!  I wanted to go ahead and show it to you now before I started filling it out with a bunch of confidential info.  ;)  You can view it near the bottom of this post.

I've also added 2014-2015 calendar add-ons for those of you who don't want to sit and hand write in all of the months.  There are even a few additional covers included as well!  The calendar and covers match the rest of my newly updated planner and are available in both colors and black-and-white.

Here is a little preview of what's inside the TPT full planner packet!

All of these pages are available in both color and black-and-white as well!  Check out my full review from my video here:

  4. I love my planner! I cannot go without a paper planner. My fiance keeps trying to get me to convert to using a digital one, but there's something nice about having it all written down! Thanks for the giveaway! :)

  6. My favorite organizational tool would have to be an impeccable memory. Unfortunately I'm not naturally gifted in this area so I make accommodations for myself . I rely greatly on a series of calendars. I of course have digital ones because they sync and I can set it to alert me which is great. The problem with that is I don't want to whip out my phone (because I don't carry my laptop or I pad everywhere I go) when I need to add something on the fly. In the school setting every moment is a possible meeting time. Teachers you see in hallways always stop to chat about students and usually scheduling conversations arise. This is where my paper calendar comes in handy. I can jot down meeting times and schedule things around other meetings without worrying that my principal is going to walk by and think I'm playing on my phone. Your planner designs look awesome. I love the vibrant colors; this is another tool I use to keep things in my memory, pretty designs and colors help me recall notes!

  7. Paper planner. I use Excel to keep track of IEP's and eval's due, but I still use my paper planner. Your planner is a great tool that I could carry to and from all my schools.

  9. Looks really cute! I use my Outlook Calendar for my calendar since I can use that 1 thing at both schools, and it's 1 less thing I have to remember to put in my bag. For planning, I use a monthly calendar at calendarsthatwork.com; that is, when I write it down!

  17. I use iCal syncing with Google and outlook to coordinate meetings and reminders. Trying to use google forms to track therapy notes with some success. But I need a binder to put all the referrals, notes, RtI, screenings, parent contacts, checklists together.
